Apply to join advisory bodies in impact assessment

The Government of Canada is seeking new members to join its advisory bodies on impact assessment.

On this page

Joining an advisory body offers a meaningful opportunity to help ensure diverse perspectives, knowledge systems, and priorities shape how major projects are assessed in Canada.

You will gain a national platform to influence policy development, highlight regional-specific considerations, and strengthen decision-making at the federal level.

You will work collaboratively with other members, build relationships with experts from across the country, contribute directly to improving impact assessment practices, and help advance outcomes that support communities, the environment and sustainable development.

There are currently two advisory body opportunities, closing on May 21, 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET.
