How we collect, store and use your information

PacifiCan collects personal information you provide (such as your name, email address, phone number and inquiry details) under section 4 of the Privacy Act to respond to your inquiry and improve service.

• Uses: Administrative tracking and response only.
• Disclosure: Information may be shared with other public sector organizations, where necessary, for purposes related to responding to an inquiry, service delivery, pathfinding, or program administration.
• Retention: Records are retained in accordance with Government of Canada information management policies.

Personal Information Collection Statement

Provision of any information you include in emails and on our contact form is voluntary. The information is collected to respond to your request and assist PacifiCan in improving our suite of products and services. Personal information that you provide is protected under the provisions of the federal Privacy Act. The Act provides you with a right to access your personal information and request changes to incorrect information. Your personal information will be stored in Personal Information Bank # WD PPU 914.

Privacy Statement

Please note that PacifiCan uses a third-party vendor, Microsoft Lists, to assist with responding to external inquiries. Your personal information is safeguarded by the protections set out in the Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum (DPA). You may find more information in Microsoft’s Privacy Statement and Terms of Use. Only data which has been depersonalised and aggregated is permitted for use by Microsoft for business purposes. Questions regarding Microsoft’s collection, use and disclosure of your personal information may be sent to Microsoft Chief Privacy Officer using their online web form. You may also submit a request through the Microsoft privacy dashboard to opt out of data collection or to request the deletion of your data.
