What do we buy
Public Services and Procurement Canada is to establish a NMSO for government departments, agencies, Crown corporations, and organizations participating in the Canadian Collaborative Procurement Initiative (CCPI). This NMSO includes areas subject to Comprehensive Land Claim Agreements (CLCAs).
This procurement tool is used for the supply of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) and related services.
The scope includes the following categories of required equipment (RE) and required services (RS):
- RE1: EVSE (level 2 and level 3)
- RE2: Accessories
- RS1: Installation and commissioning services
- RS2: Data management services and web-based platform
- RS3: Extended warranty
- RS4: Extended warranty with support and maintenance

- Offerors are to submit firm unit prices and firm hourly rates for all items, all regions in Canadian dollars, delivered duty paid at destination
- Offers evaluation is on an aggregate price basis
- The period of the SO is 3 years with an option to extend the offer by 3 additional periods of 1 year
Socio-economic aspects
2 bid solicitations are issued for this requirement. 1 is open to all suppliers and the other is a set aside for Indigenous businesses. The SO scope includes comprehensive land claim agreement obligations.
Value / Savings / Considerations
As a result of the business volume, economies of scale are generated by the use of the SO. CCPI participants benefit from having quick access to EVSE as well as being able to use an efficient procurement method to fulfill their requirements.
