What do we buy
Public Services and Procurement Canada is to establish an NMSO for government departments, agencies, Crown corporations, and organizations participating in the Canadian Collaborative Procurement Initiative (CCPI).
This procurement tool is for the supply of secure bi-parting tambour door cabinets for document/electronic storage media (Type A) and IT equipment (Type B) of various sizes. The cabinets are used to store up to and including Secret document, for all federal government departments and agencies across the country. The cabinets must be approved by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
How do we buy
- Standing offers (SO) are used to buy secure tambour door cabinet
- Purchases are made directly to the manufacturers who build and sell the cabinets
- Users normally select the products from either of the 2 SO holders, depending on their individual requirements
- Purchases can be made through the use of a call-up or acquisition card (credit card)
