Reinspection of a submitted grain sample
If you have sent a submitted sample to the Canadian Grain Commission for an inspection and disagree with the grade, protein, moisture or dockage assigned to your grain, you may request a reinspection. Your grain will be inspected by the Chief Grain Inspector for Canada or authorized inspector.

Receiving reinspection results
Once the Canadian Grain Commission receives the form requesting reinspection, the Chief Grain Inspector for Canada or authorized inspector will inspect your sample and determine the grade and dockage.
If the grading results for the sample change, the Canadian Grain Commission will send a revised Submitted Sample Certificate with the results to all parties named in the request for reinspection.
If the grade originally assigned to your grain is upheld by the Chief Grain Inspector for Canada or authorized inspector, a reinspection fee will apply. The fee must be paid by the party requesting the reinspection.
