[A bird’s-eye view of buildings covered with snow followed by a scene of a car driving down a street. Selsabil appears on screen walking in a street, then sitting in an interview chair speaking to the side of the camera.]

Selsabil: My name is Selsabil. I am a young Muslim woman who is constantly seeking to grow, learn, and bring meaning to everything I do in my life.

[Selsabil sitting behind a laptop, with sounds of her typing and writing in a notebook.]

Selsabil: I am currently finishing my master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Montreal.

[Selsabil in the interview chair followed by scenes of her typing on the laptop, driving a car and then back to the interview chair.]

[Sounds of typing on a laptop.]

Selsabil: I juggle multiple commitments. I am currently taking courses in pharmacovigilance and entrepreneurship.

[Selsabil in a meeting with others then writing on a white board.]

Selsabil: Right now, I am co-leading a book club on Atomic Habits.

[Selsabil in the interview chair followed by her tying her running shoes and then jogging.]

Selsabil: I am also a very active person. I would like to run the Montreal half-marathon in September, so I train for it two to three times a week.

[Selsabil in the interview chair with an insert of her acting on stage.]

Selsabil: I am also enrolled in theater classes—I decided to give it a try to step out of my comfort zone and improve my public speaking skills.

[Selsabil in the interview chair with inserts of her smiling and scrolling on her phone.]

Selsabil: Even though my schedule is really packed, I am far from being a superwoman. I often find myself scrolling for hours on my phone, on TikTok, saving cooking videos that I will never actually watch. Another thing I do is procrastinate—so when I need to prepare for my book club, I leave it until the last minute.

[Selsabil in a meeting with others followed by her in the interview chair and then walking in a street with another person.]

Selsabil: For me, what truly motivates me is seeing someone progress after a conversation, an idea, or a project I have been a part of. That is a real source of satisfaction and fulfillment for me.
