Domestic trade opportunities

In a rapidly changing world, Canada is focused on what we can control; diversifying trade partnerships abroad and building economic strength at home – that includes removing internal barriers and improving domestic trade within Canada.

As a member of the Domestic Trade Commissioners Network (DTCN), PacifiCan is helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) gain knowledge and participate in domestic trade missions and events that help them build business partnerships and strengthen their supply chain connections across Canada. The DTCN includes representatives from provinces, territories, and the Government of Canada through the Regional Development Agencies (RDA).

PacifiCan is also helping businesses adapt to changing trade realities through the Regional Tariff Response Initiative and the Regional Economic Growth through Innovation programs.
