What do we buy

This procurement tool is used for the supply and delivery of liquefied petroleum gas (propane in bulk and filled cylinders); rental or lease of propane cylinders and tanks; and repairs and maintenance of propane tanks including testing and remarking of cylinders and/or tanks at regular intervals as set out in the standing offer (SO), to any authorized representative of a government department, agency or Crown corporation listed in Schedules I, I.1, II, III of the Financial Administration Act, R.S., 1985, c. F-11 located in British Columbia and the Yukon.

How do we buy

  • The SO is tendered competitively.
  • The SO is divided into 10 regions within British Columbia and 1 region for the Yukon Territory, with prices set for each region.

Value / Savings / Considerations

  • As a result of the business volume, economies of scale are generated by the use of the SO. Users are to use the Distribution Terminal Rack Price for Pembina Taylor in effect on date of delivery with the firm markup price provided in the SO.
  • Prices are outlined for liquefied petroleum gas (propane), hourly rates for service calls for repairs and maintenance of federally owned cylinders and tanks, and costs for inspections and re-certifications for cylinders or tanks.
