Top questions

When can I check my application status?

You can check the status of your application after you receive an acknowledgement of receipt (AOR) letter or email from us. This confirms we received your application and that it's complete.

Before we send you an AOR or letter with your application number, we:

  1. receive your application and add it to our processing queue
  2. open it and check if it’s complete
  3. start processing it, if it’s complete

This process can take a while. We’ll return your application if:

  • it’s incomplete
  • you didn’t pay your fees
  • we receive it after a program pauses, closes or reaches its application limit

You won’t be able to check the status of your application if so.
