CBSA exercise at the Emerson port of entry

News Release

On Tuesday, September 13, 2016, between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. CDT, officers from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), and other area first responders, will be conducting an emergency preparedness training exercise at the Emerson port of entry.

There will be a brief stoppage of Canada bound traffic between 9 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. CDT and travellers may experience some delay or increased wait times during, and immediately following, this stoppage.

The Emerson port of entry will remain open at all times during the exercise and United States bound traffic will not be affected.

As this is an internal exercise for training purposes, media and members of the public are not invited to observe.

We thank you in advance for your co-operation.
