Changes to the CBSA Office of Barrie

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced today that it will be making changes to the office located at 374 Huronia Road in Barrie, Ontario. 

Commencing November 20, 2017, CBSA services will no longer be provided by officers at this location. Commercial clients and travellers arriving via small vessel and aircraft will receive CBSA services via an Inland Alternate Service (IAS), which means that a designated HUB/Central Office will seamlessly provide services. ‎Toronto Pearson International Airport Commercial Operations, located at 2720 Britannia Road East in Mississauga, Ontario, has been identified as the HUB/Central Office.

This change is in keeping with the Agency's service delivery model—a model that harnesses technology to meet client needs. It supports our mandate to ensure the safety and security of our border, while facilitating the legitimate movement of people and goods.
