The Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) completed its work with the release of its final report and the creation of the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, located at the University of Manitoba.

What's in the archive
The majority of the collection was harvested at the time of the TRC's final report in 2015. The collection consists of about 266 resources, including:
- full or partial websites
- videos
- newspaper
- media content
- blogs
It has English and French content that records the effect of the TRC on Canadian society.
About the Truth and Reconciliation Commission
The Government of Canada established the TRC in 2008 under the terms of the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement. Its archives are now held by the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation.
