Before you start

Step 1 – Fill out the form
Access the online form:
- Use a computer, tablet or mobile device.
- Use a compatible browser: Edge, Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
- Complete all required fields.
- Ensure the information you provide is accurate and complete.
- Save your form to complete it later, if needed.
- Switch between English and French without losing your answers.
- Select “Submit” to send your form.

Step 2 – Send your documents
After submitting the form, send the following required documents by email to: bourse-bursary@bac-lac.gc.ca.
- A copy of your proof of status as a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person (do not send original documents)
- Proof of enrollment in a Canadian postsecondary institution (university, college or CEGEP) in a program leading to a career in the documentary heritage sector (libraries or archives)
After you submit your application
- You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt.
- We will publish the names of recipients on our website once the selection committee has made its decision.
- We will contact selected applicants only.
