Minister Bibeau to announce investments through the Agricultural Clean Technology Program 

March 1, 2023 – Burlington, Ontario – Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

The Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, will announce investments in Agricultural Clean Technology (ACT) Program projects across Ontario while visiting Anaergia Inc. The company has received funding through the Research and Innovation Stream of ACT towards the treatment of organic waste and feedstock to provide renewable energy and fertilizer for on-farm use. The Minister will be joined by Peggy Brekveld, President of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture.

Media are invited to tour Anaergia, take photos, and ask questions of the Minister and proponent.
