9 Air Reserve Flight

The Air Reserve Flight (ARF) Gander includes a pool of fully trained and qualified personnel available to support the Regular Force during peacetime and provide a base for expansion should the Canadian Forces be required to mobilize in times of war.

To meet this role, ARF Gander is made up of reservists in the technical and support trades employed on a part-time basis at 9 Wing Gander units.

Reservists are either previous members of the Regular Force or are recruited directly into the ARF Gander and enrolled in a vacant position for which they've demonstrated an aptitude.
