Snowbird 4 First Line Astern, Canadian Forces Snowbirds
Captain Patrice Powis-Clement was raised on St Joseph Island, Ontario, where he developed a passion for flying at a young age. After completing Air Cadets, he enrolled in the Sault College Aviation Technology Program where he obtained a Commercial Pilot licence with multi endorsed instrument rating. After graduating in 2011, Capt Powis-Clement joined the Canadian Armed Forces under the Regular Officer Training Plan. He attended the Royal Military College of Canada, graduating in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Following his arrival at 15 Wing Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, he completed flight training on the CT-156 Harvard II and CT-155 Hawk. He was then posted to the 2 Canadian Forces Flight Training School where he became a senior instructor, training new instructors on the Harvard II.
Captain Powis-Clement joined the Canadian Forces Snowbirds in 2020 and brings over 2,400 hours flying experience in ejection seat aircraft to the team.
He flies the number 4 Jet in the First Line-Astern position
