Corporal Aaron Martin

Corporal (Cpl) Aaron Martin was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, on December 15, 1995, and was raised in Luseland, Saskatchewan.

Growing up, he spent 6 years in the Royal Canadian Air Cadet program as part of the 601 Macklin Squadron and the 702 Spitfire (Saskatoon) Squadron.

Cpl Martin joined the military in January 2014 and did his Basic Training in Saint-Jean, Quebec. After completing his initial occupational training in Borden, Ontario, he was posted to 401 Tactical Fighter Squadron (TAC F Sqn) in Cold Lake, Alberta, working on the CF-18 Hornet. He spent 9 years in Cold Lake working at 401 TAC F Sqn and 409 TAC F Sqn, followed by 5 years in periodic maintenance at 1 Air Maintenance Squadron.

Cpl Martin was posted to the 431 Air Demonstration Squadron - Snowbirds in the fall of 2024. This is his first year on the road with the show team and he is looking forward to the Huntington Beach Airshow.
