Aircraft Maintenance Control and Records Office Technician, Canadian Forces Snowbirds
Corporal Jadnn Greer was born in Montreal, Quebec. He first saw a Snowbirds’ performance in Trenton, Ontario, in 2004 and recalls being very impressed with 431 Air Demonstration Squadron and how it worked as tight-knit team, as well as being away from their home area.
Cpl Greer joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2016 as an Aviation Systems Technician (AVN Tech) after hearing stories from his stepfather, a former Engine Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces, eventually converted to AVN Tech when the trade was amalgamated. Following completion of his trade training at Canadian Forces Base Borden, Ontario, Cpl Greer unintentionally started to follow in his stepfather’s footsteps and was himself posted to 431 Air Demonstration Squadron in 2017.
Throughout 2018, Cpl Greer appreciated experiencing firsthand how the Snowbirds team operates on the road as well as how the team prepares while at home ahead of the show season. This different style of work is something he got accustomed to and is now looking forward to each year. Cpl Greer is accompanying the team this season 2023 as Force Generation.
