Corporal John Morrison
Snowbird 2A, Aviation Systems Technician

Corporal (Cpl) John Morrison is from Burnaby, British Columbia. He grew up adventuring in the mountains, skiing every chance he could.
In 2018, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force as an Aviation Systems Technician. After completing basic military training, Cpl Morrison was posted to Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering at Canadian Forces Base Borden where he completed his trade training.
In 2019, he was posted to 431 Air Demonstration Squadron in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and successfully completed his apprenticeship in September 2020.
In addition to his work with 431 Squadron, he has been employed on the periodic maintenance line at 8 Wing Trenton. Cpl Morrison enjoys the unique technical challenges that come with working with the Snowbirds.
Cpl Morrison deployed with the Snowbirds for a short time during the 2021 show season and served as the Technician Coordinator during the 2022 show season.
In 2023 and 2024, he joined the show team in the capacity of Aviation Systems Technician and will do so again in 2025.
