Avionics Systems Technician Lead, Canadian Forces Snowbirds
Corporal Nicholas Fox was raised in Brockville, Ontario. He was first interested in the Canadian Armed Forces through his older brother, formerly a member of the 113 Brockville Rifles Army Cadets Corps. At age 12, Cpl Fox followed in his brother’s footsteps and spent six years in the army cadet program. In 2015, after graduating high school, Cpl Fox headed for basic military training where he started his career within the RCAF as an Avionics Systems Technician.
Moving forward, he attended the Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics at Canadian Forces Case (CFB) Kingston. He next continued on to CFB Borden where he completed his trades training. For first posting, Cpl Fox jumped on the opportunity to work with 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, as he always dreamt of joining the team. Since his coming to 15 Wing Moose Jaw in 2017, Cpl Fox assisted the team in different capacities. Aside from his work as an avionics technician, he has also been involved with the periodic maintenance at CFB Trenton. Cpl Fox toured with the Snowbirds in 2021 and 2022. He is very excited to return for the 2023 show season in the position of Avionics Systems Technician Lead and continue his long-time dream.
