Aircraft Structures Technician, Canadian Forces Snowbirds
Master Corporal Timothy Brooks joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2013. He completed basic military training in St. Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Quebec, and was next posted to Canadian Forces Base Borden where he completed his trade training in 2015, top of his class. Moving forward, he was posted to the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment formerly located at 4 Wing Cold Lake. Throughout his career, MCpl Brooks has worked on several different airframes, including the CH-146 Griffon, the CC-130 Hercules, the CF-188 Hornet, and the CT-114 Tutor. In 2020, MCpl Brooks was posted to 431 Air Demonstration Squadron in Moose Jaw where his current responsibilities are to maintain aircraft structures as well as Aviation Life Support Equipment for the Snowbirds team. When he is not at work, MCpl Brooks enjoys playing hockey, longboarding, brewing in his garage, working on cars, and listening to music. MCpl Brooks deployed with the Snowbirds as an Aircraft Structure Technician in 2021, 2022, and will join the team again in 2023.
