In Atlantic Canada, ACOA is delivering $76M through the BCSF Local Impact Stream to support regionally significant community infrastructure
Enhance community infrastructure/ systems to support community growth
Strengthen communities through investments that ensure climate adaptation and modern public infrastructure
Advance sustainable economic development through regionally significant projects
Who Can Apply & How?
You may qualify if you are:
- An Indigenous government or Indigenous-led not-for-profit organization
- A municipal or regional government or municipally owned agency
- A public sector body established by or owned by a municipal or regional government
- A not-for-profit organization
Eligible Activities
Small-scale projects supporting new or renewed public infrastructure:
- New construction
- Expansion
- Renovation
- Retrofit
- Replacement
- Climate adaptation
Funding Delivery: How BCSF Works
$51 billion BCSF
Provincial-Territorial Stream: $17.2 billion
Community Stream: $27.8 billion
Direct Delivery Stream: $6 billion
Local Impact Stream: $1 billion
ACOA: $76 million
ACOA will provide $76 million over 4 years, starting in 2026-27
