Appendix E - IBD conceptual analytical framework

This figure shows the International Business Development sub-program conceptual and analytical framework drafted in 2012 as part of an evaluation planning process for all Enterprise Development sub-programs. The framework illustrates the types of activities undertaken, the stakeholders involved, the immediate and intermediate outcomes, and the desired impacts. It shows the complex environment in which IBD programming operates, including both ACOA’s contribution via other sub-programs and external contextual factors. The framework shows the interrelationships between IBD activities, outcomes and impacts as well as the contributions of other stakeholders.
