- I am proud to be the new Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.
- Our government has a real plan to move the Atlantic Canadian economy forward and help entrepreneurs succeed, grow and create good paying jobs.
- I look forward to working with provincial partners, business people and community leaders to build on the progress of growing the Atlantic Canadian economy since 2015 and to make our region a strong magnet for more business innovation and investment.
- I am excited and eager to get to work on our plan to grow the economy. First, I will be going through briefings with ACOA officials on my new ministerial responsibilities.
