The company produces products such as cutting boards, butchers blocks, service trays, fence posts, and components of furniture and cabinets for major retailers.
This project will enable JMN Enterprises to expand its operations allowing it to increase productivity to meet growing demand for its value-added wood products and secure a multi-million dollar contract with a major international client.
Boise Cascade-Alljoist Ltd – St. Jacques, NB

Boise Cascade-Alljoist Ltd is a manufacturer of wood I-Joists that are structural components used for building houses, light commercial floors and roof construction. The manufacturing plant is a wholly owned subsidiary of Boise Cascade LLC located in Boise, Idaho. Purchased in 2000, it is the only Canadian member of the Boise group. The company produces quality wood products and has a nationwide building materials distribution network for its customers.
The project will help the company purchase a custom designed automated assembly system, replacing a physically demanding manual system, which will improve employee safety, allow the company to increase its production capacity and overall plant efficiency.

Fiready Inc. is a family owned business that produces and sells packaged certified kiln-dried hardwood firewood products throughout Canada and the United States.
The project will help the company acquire a scale and a more efficient drying system that will enable it to maximize existing capacity, reduce wood waste by five percent, increase production by ten percent and create new jobs.

Water Blasting & Vacuum Services Inc. provides industrial cleaning services for equipment used in the pulp and paper industry and public work departments.
Through this project, Water Blasting & Vacuum Services plans to purchase new hydro demolition robotic equipment and a high pressure washer that will improve the quality and efficiency of its services, which will help increase sales, productivity, and employee safety, as well as open up new opportunities for the company to expand its services into northern Quebec. The new equipment will also enable local industries to clean and decontaminate equipment that could be polluting the environment.
