Harvest House Benefits from Infrastructure Funds

Government of Canada funding helps improve energy efficiency of Woodstock facility
March 31, 2017 – Woodstock, NB – Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency
Harvest House Woodstock, a registered non-profit Canadian charity that provides free services to those in need, is benefiting from significant monthly cost savings after replacing its heating system thanks to an investment from the Government of Canada.
TJ Harvey, Member of Parliament for Tobique – Mactaquac, today announced an investment of $10,147 for the purchase and installation of four mini-split heating units at Harvest House Woodstock.
Today’s announcement was made on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).
This project has been partly funded through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program (CIP 150), delivered in Atlantic Canada through ACOA. These investments, to honour Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, are helping create jobs, boost economic activity, strengthen communities and celebrate Canada’s rich heritage and history.
