“Cultural and recreational activities and facilities form an essential part of every community. The Government of Canada recognizes that investing in them celebrates our heritage and improves the quality of life of all Canadians. These renewed facilities not only respond to the demand for community infrastructure improvements, but also provide us an opportunity to celebrate the people of this great country.”
The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for ACOA
“Investments in local public infrastructure made through ACOA improve our quality of life, strengthen communities – large and small – across Canada and allow us all to fully participate in those communities. For more than 90 years, the Grand Falls Golf Course has provided a recreation opportunity for not only the people in the local area but those visiting on business and pleasure. The funding announced today will help ensure the Grand Falls Golf Course will be able to continue to provide this outstanding service and for all to enjoy their experience on the course to the fullest.”
