Quorum Information Systems Inc. Developing Innovative Solution to Drive Growth

News release

Company plans to develop new hub to link information from key data systems

July 9, 2019 – St. John’s (NL) – Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency

Businesses driving innovation and growth in the technology industry need to continue to adapt and modernize to stay competitive. With that in mind, Quorum Information Systems Inc. (Quorum) is developing an innovative digital solution to help automotive dealerships improve customer service and business operations. This will enable the company to remain competitive, maintain more than 120 jobs and expand further into the North American market.

Quorum currently offers its XSELLERATORTM software platform to help automotive dealerships automate, integrate and streamline departments such as sales, service and parts. The company will now use artificial intelligence to develop a new data hub to integrate information collected from XSELLERATORTM, dealerships and vehicle manufacturers. This will allow Quorum to provide more comprehensive information to automotive dealerships and enable them to offer better customer service and enhance business growth.

The Government of Canada is providing a conditionally repayable investment of more than $1.5 million for this project and Quorum is providing more than $514,000.

The Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Indigenous Services and Member of Parliament for St. John’s South-—Mount Pearl, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), made the announcement today.

The Government of Canada is making smart investments that will create good, middle-class jobs in our country. It is helping Atlantic Canadians develop and bring to market new products and services that lead to market success, help grow strategic sectors, or lead to the creation of research and commercialization partnerships. Support for this project is one way the Government of Canada is working to achieve its Atlantic Growth Strategy outcome of long-term economic prosperity in the region.
