Government and industry partners to announce new technology for the mining industry

Yvonne Jones, Member of Parliament for Labrador, on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages and Minister responsible for ACOA, will make a significant announcement related to the mining industry. MP Jones will be joined by the Honourable Lisa Dempster, Newfoundland and Labrador Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs, and Liz Kidd, President and CEO of College of the North Atlantic.

To register, please contact Paul McGrath at paul.mcgrath@acoa-apeca.gc.ca by 4:00 p.m., July 16. Those attending will be required to wear a mask, sign in and provide their name and phone number for possible contact tracing.
Due to the event location near the mine, all media will be provided with personal protective equipment at arrival. Upon registration, media will be provided with a COVID questionnaire and an online safety induction which must be completed 24-48 hours in advance of the event.
