Miramichi region will benefit from investments to help bring people back to public spaces safely

Backgrounder

The Government of Canada invests more than $160,000 in three community shared spaces to stimulate local economies, create jobs, and improve the quality of life of Canadians.

PROJECT

Chatham Head Recreation and Community Centre Inc.   

To upgrade the roof at the recreational centre and install a new irrigation system at the ballfield in support of outdoor spaces and accessibility.

Renous Recreation Council Inc. 

To renovate a ballfield, hockey arena and construct a playground in support of outdoor spaces that will benefit and encourage the inclusion of all community members.
