National Missing Children's Day

Media Advisory

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) invites the media to attend Missing Children’s Day at the Vancouver International Airport – Level 3, across from the food court. CBSA border services officers will be administering a fingerprint booth and will be providing information to the public about the importance of the safety and security of children crossing international borders.

National Missing Children's Day is an opportunity to raise awareness about the Our Missing Children (OMC) program, which addresses missing children cases in Canada.

Since the inception of the OMC program, the CBSA has recovered over 1,800 missing or abducted children at Canadian borders.
