Ceremony for the Officer Induction Training Program

Rigaud, Quebec, July, 11, 2019 —

The Canada Border Services Agency invites media for the Ceremony of the Officer Induction Training Program Cohort 13C in the presence of the Honourable Bill Blair, Minister of Border Security and Organized Crime Reduction, and Peter Schiefke, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Border Security and Organized Crime Reduction and to the Prime Minister (Youth).

A Detector Dog demonstration, photo opportunity and media availability will immediately follow the induction ceremony at approximately 11:00 am.

Time:   9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (EDT)           

Place:  CBSA College – Main Campus

Interested media are asked to arrive at the main entrance of the CBSA College 30 minutes prior to start of ceremony and to provide a valid government photo ID to be admitted onsite.
