Secretary of State (Nature) Nathalie Provost to make announcement regarding border security and keeping communities safe and to visit the Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle POE

October 16, 2025 — Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Nathalie Provost, Secretary of State (Nature) for a tour of the Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle port of entry. The Secretary of State will be joined by members of the CBSA and will be available to answer questions from the media after the tour.

Notes for media

Media will be able to capture b-roll video and take photos of:

1. Commercial dock operations tour; special operation will be underway on small parcels and dog handler will be present.
2. Exterior tour of the commercial booths and different points of view on the construction project as well as on the travellers lanes.

Parking

Media representatives should arrive in the parking lot of the Auberge Saint-Bernard (115 chemin Guay, Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle, J0J 1V0) at 10:30 a.m. They will then be escorted by a CBSA vehicle to the event location.
