Canada Investment Summit 2026
Canada Investment Summit 2026
Toronto, Ontario. September 14 and 15, 2026
Canada has what the world wants.
Choose Canada. Invest in Canada.
The world is changing rapidly. In response, Canada is focused on what we can control. We are building a stronger economy with an ambitious plan to catalyse $1 trillion in total investment in Canada over the next five years.
The Canada Investment Summit is a first-of-its-kind gathering in Canada, bringing together leading global investors, Canadian CEOs, and public sector representatives for a two-day event focused on accelerating new investment into Canada.
Hosted by the Prime Minister of Canada in partnership with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) and Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments), two of Canada’s largest institutional investors, the Summit serves as a premier platform to showcase Canada as a compelling investment destination and a trusted convener of global capital.
Together, the Prime Minister, Mark Carney, and Canada’s leading institutional investors CPP Investments and PSP Investments have drawn on their extensive global networks to bring the world to Canada – and facilitate investment into Canadian industry.

Canada is a top global destination for investment
Canada begins from a position of strength. Our economic fundamentals are among the strongest in the world, and resilient in the face of global shocks.
Canada has what the world wants, and we are a reliable, stable partner in a world that is anything but. Canada:
- Holds a AAA credit rating and ranks #1 in the G7 for banking stability.
- Has the lowest net debt-to-GDP ratio in the G7, and foreign direct investment (FDI) into Canada is at its highest in two decades, underscoring that Canada is a consistently top-ranked destination for FDI.
- Has one of the most educated workforces in the world.
- Is a global leader in quantum technology, with the opportunity to create an estimated $140 billion in economic value as the technology is commercialized and adopted across industries.
- Has preferential access to 1.5 billion consumers representing two thirds of global GDP, through 16 free trade agreements across 51 countries.
- Is connecting and transforming our economy through the Major Projects Office with 27 nation-building initiatives, representing over $192 billion in investment, and more than 330,000 jobs.
