Media invitation to the National Indigenous Peoples Day Morning Ceremony at the Canadian Museum of History

Gatineau - Media is invited to attend a public ceremony on June 21st to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day. The event will begin with a traditional ceremony led by First Nations, Métis and Inuit elders and followed by live entertainment by Indigenous artists. The Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Indigenous Services, will deliver brief opening remarks.

We ask that no photos or video recordings be taken during the traditional component of the ceremony.
