The Governments of Canada and Ontario formally apologize to Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation as settlement agreement regarding the Nation's flooding claim concludes

Dales, Ontario — The Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Crown–Indigenous Relations; Chief Lorraine Cobiness of Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation; and the Honourable Greg Rickford, Ontario Minister of Indigenous Affairs, to announce the successful tripartite settlement agreement between the Government of Canada, Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation, and the Province of Ontario regarding the Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation Flooding claim.
