Minister Anandasangaree and President Chartrand to sign a historic Self-government Treaty

Winnipeg, Manitoba — Please be advised that the Honourable Gary Anandasangaree, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and David Chartrand, President of the Manitoba Métis Federation, National Government of the Red River Métis, will participate in the Red River Métis Self-Government Recognition and Implementation Treaty signing ceremony in Winnipeg.

Media wishing to attend are asked to pre-register with the Media Relations team of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada at RCAANC.media.CIRNAC@sac-isc.gc.ca.

Media will be asked to provide identification to access the event.
