Associate Deputy Minister, Suzy McDonald

Biographical Notes

Suzy McDonald was appointed Associate Deputy Minister of Finance as of September 11, 2023.

From October 2022 until her appointment to Finance, she served as Associate Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. From 2018 to 2020, she was the Associate Assistant Deputy Minister for the Federal-Provincial Relations and Social Policy Branch here at the Department of Finance.

Ms. McDonald has a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Carleton University.
