In 2013–14, statutory spending was $84 billion, voted spending was $110 million, and spending for sunset programs was $1.5 billion. Total spending was $85.6 billion.

In 2014–15, statutory spending was $85.2 billion, voted spending was $110 million, and spending for sunset programs was $345 million. Total spending was $85.7 billion.

In 2015–16, statutory spending is $87.1 billion, voted spending is $96 million, and spending for sunset programs is $16 million. Total spending is $87.2 billion.

In 2016–17, statutory spending of $89.4 billion, voted spending of $87 million, and spending for sunset programs of $4 million are planned. Total planned spending is $89.5 billion.

In 2017–18, statutory spending of $92.8 billion and voted spending of $87 million are planned. There are no sunsetting programs in 2017–18. Total planned spending is $92.9 billion.

In 2018–19, statutory spending of $97.9 billion and voted spending of $87 million are planned. There are no sunsetting programs in 2018–19. Total planned spending is $98 billion.
