Business Roundtable With Mexican Secretary of Finance 

Minister of Finance Bill Morneau will welcome his Mexican counterpart, Secretary of Finance and Public Credit of Mexico José Antonio González Anaya, for a bilateral meeting in Toronto on Thursday, January 18.

Minister Morneau and Secretary González will also hold roundtable discussions with Canadian business leaders from the energy, mining and financial sectors who have investments and operations in Mexico.

Following these meetings, Minister Morneau and Secretary González will hold a joint press conference.

Pre-Budget Consultation

Minister Morneau will co-host his last pre-budget consultation, with Toronto City Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam, to better understand how Government decisions impact the contribution of different groups of women and men to the Canadian economy. Canadians are welcome to submit their ideas to the Government as part of pre-budget consultations until January 26 at 11:59 p.m., through the website: www.budget.gc.ca/pbc18.
