Biographical Notes – Ashleigh Everett

Ms. Ashleigh Everett has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) since February 2017.

Ms. Everett is currently the President, Corporate Secretary, and Director of Royal Canadian Securities Limited (the holding company of Royal Canadian Properties Limited). She is a Director of The Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company and a former Director of the Bank of Nova Scotia (Chair of the Corporate Governance and Pension Committees). She previously held the position of Director of Manitoba Telecom Services (Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committees).  

In 2016, Ms. Everett was appointed a member of the Premier’s Enterprise Team in Manitoba, an independent advisory panel of entrepreneurs that provided advice and recommendations for job creation and economic development in the province.

Ms. Everett holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University.
