Biographical Notes – Charles Malone

Backgrounder

Mr. Charles Malone has three decades of experience in major capital project delivery, governance and assurance, health safety and environment (HSE), enterprise risk management, business improvement, organizational change and corporate strategy in the Energy sector and value chain.

Mr. Malone has successfully delivered multi-million-dollar projects and programs around the world, including in Canada, the UK and Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia, and South America. In recent years, he has worked as a management consultant providing expert advice to companies on corporate restructuring, organizational change, and redesign.

He recently served on the board of two not-for-profit organizations – the Calgary Burns Club and the Shell Alumni network – after completing the Not-for-Profit Director Governance qualification from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Mr. Malone has a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honors) from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland; previously a Chartered Engineer designation from the Institute of Materials, London, UK; and a Professional Engineer designation from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
