Minister Champagne to make an announcement in Ottawa ahead of Budget 2025

Ottawa, Ontario – The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Finance and National Revenue, will make an announcement ahead of Budget 2025 on new Government of Canada measures to counter fraud and strengthen Canadians' financial security. A media availability will follow.

He will be joined by the Honourable Gary Anandasangaree, Minister of Public Safety, the Honourable Wayne Long, Secretary of State (Canada Revenue Agency and Financial Institutions), and the Honourable Stephanie McLean, Secretary of State (Seniors).
