Minister Champagne to participate in an armchair discussion in Toronto to discuss Budget 2025

Toronto, Ontario – On November 6, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Finance and National Revenue, will participate in an armchair discussion at an event hosted by MaRS.

The Minister will speak with Eva Wong, co-founder and chief operating officer of Canadian fintech company Borrowell, about measures from this week’s Budget 2025 to lower the prices Canadians pay by promoting private sector competition.

Media are invited to attend the discussion. The Minister will take questions from the media after the event.
