Biographical Notes – Douglas James Enns

Mr. Douglas James Enns is currently President and founder of Upturn Consulting Ltd., a British Columbia based firm that provides advisory services to a range of clients.

Mr. Enns has held senior executive positions in the information technologies and financial services sector. He is a former Commissioner with the British Columbia Utilities Commission and is the past chair of the Boards of the BC Consumer Protection Agency, Worksafe BC and the Advisory Board of Ralmax Industries. Mr. Enns is past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and a founding member of Victoria Micro Lending which provided loans to entrepreneurs in Africa and Asia.

Mr. Enns holds a Master of Business of Business Administration degree from the University of Wales and a Chartered Director (C.Dir) designation from McMaster University. He completed a certificate program in risk management from Stanford University. Mr. Enns earned his Chartered Accountancy designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba and was awarded an FCPA by the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
