Current Status: Closed

On February 14, 2025, the Government of Canada launched consultations to hear from Canadians on the most pressing challenges of today—such as making life more affordable, strengthening economic security, and responding to the current Canada-U.S. context.

Pre-budget consultations concluded on March 10, 2025, and the questionnaire and submissions portal are now closed.

Next Steps

Your feedback will be reviewed by the Department of Finance to help inform decisions on Budget 2025. While these formal consultations have concluded, Canadians are welcome to share their ideas and comments with the Department of Finance at any time.
