The Government of Canada announces judicial appointment to the Tax Court of Canada

October 20, 2016 – Ottawa, Ontario – Department of Justice Canada

The Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, today announced the following appointment:

Bruce Russell, Q.C., a partner with McInnes Cooper in Halifax, is appointed a judge of the Tax Court of Canada to replace Mr. Justice C.J. Miller, who elected supernumerary status effective February 17, 2016.

This appointment is effective immediately.
