The Government of Canada announces judicial appointment in the province of Quebec

October 20, 2016 – Ottawa, Ontario – Department of Justice Canada

The Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, today announced the following appointment:

The Honourable Patrick Healy, a judge of the Court of Québec in Montreal, is appointed a puisne judge of the Court of Appeal of Québec to replace Mr. Justice J.A. Léger, who resigned effective September 11, 2015.

This appointment is effective immediately.
