Video / January 7, 2021

I know my limits. You know my limits.

Hi. I'm Chief Petty Officer (1st Class ) Dave Bliss. I'm the Formation Chief Warrant Officer for Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers and I'm here to take the 60 Seconds Challenge.

"What is 'COATS'?"
Cadet Organization Administration and Training Services.

"What advice would you give to people looking to join COATS?"
Don't wait. Go to your nearest Regional Cadet Support Unit and talk to somebody there.

"Why did I transfer to COATS?"
To continue my work with Cadets.

"What has been my best COATS experience?"
Working with Senior Cadets at a Cadet Training Centre.

"How long did your transfer take to happen?"
Mine took five months, but we streamlined the process since then.

"What is the best part of being a COATS member?"
Working with Cadets.

What is the best thing the Cadet program does for you?"
Provides them opportunities and experiences they can't get anywhere else in Canada.

"Which coast is the best coast?"
Both coasts are great, but come January and February, I like the West Coast.
