(NG) My name is Captain Noteh Glogauer. I'm a chaplain in the fourth Canadian Division, serving in HQ, Denison Armoury. And I'm here to do the 60 seconds challenge. Ready?

"What is Hanukkah and why is it important in Judaism?"

Hanukkah is an eight-day festival normally in December time that commemorates the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and celebrates the freedom of expression of one’s spirituality.

"What is your day-to-day duties as a rabbi in the CAF?"

My day-to-day duties are to support all members in their day-to-day positions, to be able to advise the chain of command on all moral and ethical issues.

"What makes you smile?"

A hug from our grandchildren and when Calgary Flames win. And, boy, do they can need help right now. Go, Flames, go!

"How do you offer support to CAF members as a rabbi?"

By maintaining an open-door policy and being accessible and available.

"What does leadership mean to you?"

Leadership is an opportunity for people to demonstrate, through trust and respect, how to be able to build other people to meet their true potential. One more!

"Why is diversity in the CAF important?"

By reflecting Canadian societal values, the CAF is in a better position to be able to retain and recruit diverse members, thereby increasing the organization effectiveness. And that's it!
